About LPDPS

The Lithuanian Platform Workers’ Trade Union (LPDPS) brings together people working on ride-hailing, food delivery, parcel delivery and other digital platforms, and defends workers’ economic, social and labour rights and interests. The LPDPS represents workers at ‘Bolt’, ‘Wolt’, ‘Last Mile’, ‘Uber’ and other digital platform companies.

What are we aiming for?

The LPDPS was founded in 2025 following a merger between the previously operating ‘Couriers’ Association’ and ‘Bolt’ riders seeking recognition of their employment status. LPDPS aims to ensure that workers on digital platforms are not exploited or discriminated against, that they work in safe and healthy conditions, and that they receive fair pay for their work.

What do we do?

The LPDPS organises public events and campaigns and supports workers’ strikes aimed at representing the collective interests of workers. The trade union organises meetings, encourages the exchange of views and fosters collegial interaction.

LPDPS builds up legal expertise, advises individual members, prepares recommendations for state institutions, and participates in the drafting and deliberation of legislation.
